You also need to achieve certain reputation level to unlock new businesses and episodes when playing the Bangkok city in Mafia Wars. This is a kind of new challenge, which has helped many players come back to the game. Gaining reputation points for a faction is easy and lot of fun. You will have two methods to gain reputation for faction of your choice i.e. either to fight someone from the other faction or do a choice job. Both these methods will give you the reputation points for faction of your choice. Remember, doing a job for a faction does not only give you reputation points but also subtracts one point for the reputation with the other factions. For instance, if you have taken the choice job for Yakuza, you will get +3 points for Yakuza and -1 for Triad. Your Triad reputation will fall by 1 point whereas your Yakuza reputation will rise by 3 points. Keep this in mind and plan accordingly. Some players would prefer going only for one faction whereas the other would prefer keeping a balance between both of them to unlock more businesses and jobs. The trick to achieve maximum reputation with both the factions is to do fights for one and jobs for the other. With every fight, you will get +2 points and 1 point will be subtraction from the reputation of other faction. If you do it strategically, you will be able to fill both the reputation gauges. This will unlock everything in Bangkok.
